Summer Choir Camp for Students Entering 4th-8th Grades
The following information is from the Aspen Music Festival and School. Students who participated in this camp last summer had a really good time, and the price is phenomenal. Please contact Benjamin De Kock at the information below to sign-up. If any students entering 3rd grade are interested in the camp, please send me an email. I will consider your request on a case-by-case basis, and if I feel like your child is a good fit, I will email Benjamin on your behalf.
The Aspen Music Festival and School is offering a fun and music-filled summer camp for children of the Roaring Fork Valley. As part of the Maroon Bel Canto Children's Chorus (MBCCC), the camp is open to students entering fourth grade through eighth grades. Students entering third grade will be considered on an individual basis. The camp will be run by professional music teachers and give the kids an opportunity to learn about vocal singing technique in a choir setting, participate in fun acting and singing activities, perform as part of a solo master class, attend open rehearsals, meet Festival guest artists, conductors, and students, as well as enjoy daily outdoor activities.
The camp will run July 28 to August 1 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Cost is just $100 for the week and each participant receives a pass to see concerts at the Music Festival as well.
